Croatia, with its beautiful climate and over a thousand islands makes a fantastic area for cruising, and a memorable vacation in a country of warm people and stunning scenery. Medieval towns, such as Korcula and Dubrovnik, set against the beautiful backdrop of the blue Adriatic, are fascinating to discover, rich in history and full of delightful little restaurants and cafes.

 


There are so many options, from small islands where you can enjoy a lazy afternoon swimming and snorkeling before dinner served onboard, to the ambience of little ports where you can wake up in the morning and stroll across the road for coffee. Croatia has some of the best marinas in the Mediterranean as well as a number of National Parks which encompass some of the islands and provide a haven for wildlife.

 

Weather in Croatia

As with most of the Mediterranean the yacht charter season is quite long runs from about April through to about the end of October. The weather is predominantly warm and dry during these months. During the summer months of July and August, the winds are usually light.
